Renault Scala Overview
The French Car maker Renault India recently launched its Sedan Scala in both petrol and diesel variants. The car is said to be revamped and rebadged version of Nissan Sunny.
The interior of the car gives you a luxurious look with its posh, lavish and premium body design.
The Scala is the fifth product in Renault's stable in India, others being small car Pulse, premium sedan Fluence and sports utility vehicles Koleos and Duster.
Scala is powered by 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines and has five-speed manual transmission. Nearly 80-85 per cent of its parts are sourced locally. The most attracting feature of the car is its look & its 15 inch alloy wheels
"Scala will consolidate what Renault has brought to India. It will enter a very competitive segment," Renault India managing director Marc Nassif said.
The company expects overall sales to touch 30,000-35,000 units this year, and hopes to sell 1 lakh units in 2013. The company is banking on the Scala and Pulse to push sales.
The French car maker will also look at the segment below the Pulse in future, Nassif said.
