Mahindra's New SUV Quanto to be launched in September, M@ M New quanto Will be around Rs 1 lakh cheaper as compared to XYLO
India's utility manutacturer major Mahindra & Mahindra plans to launch new product QUANTO a second product in its passenger vehicle range in September.
Car is desiged on its XYLO platform. It will come with a new 3 cylinder twin turbo diesel engine producing 65 PS. The cais expected to be atleast Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the latter owing to lower excise duty of 12 percent as against 27 percent.
Though XYLO falls in MPV (multi-purpose vehicle (MPV)), but QUANTO will be called as Mini SUV.
Quanto will be 7 seater car with a powerful turbo charged deisel end but comapany also launch it pertol varient option also.
President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mr Pawan Goenka, Mahindra & Mahindra, told in a release “With the Quanto, Mahindra is aiming to fill a need gap in the Indian automotive market for a versatile and compact SUV. We are confident that with its unique value proposition, the Quanto will carve out a segment for itself in the market."

Its an excellent mini version of Xylo.This car going to steal the magic and craze of other cars from Indian market.Somewhat attractive to look at, unique in execution and positioning and well suited to the requirements of the Indian market and from the money angle the Quanto have a very aggressive price tag, somewhere between Rs 6 to Rs 7.5 lakh which is very competitive.
