Mahindra's New SUV Quanto to be launched in September, M@ M New quanto Will be around Rs 1 lakh cheaper as compared to XYLO

India's utility manutacturer major Mahindra & Mahindra plans to launch new product QUANTO a second product in its passenger vehicle range in September.

Car is desiged on its XYLO platform. It will come with a new 3 cylinder twin turbo diesel engine producing 65 PS. The cais expected to be atleast Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the latter owing to lower excise duty of 12 percent as against 27 percent.

Though XYLO falls in MPV (multi-purpose vehicle (MPV)), but QUANTO will be called as Mini SUV.

Quanto will be 7 seater car with a powerful turbo charged deisel end but comapany also launch it pertol varient option also.

President, Automotive & Farm Equipment Sectors, Mr Pawan Goenka, Mahindra & Mahindra, told in a release “With the Quanto, Mahindra is aiming to fill a need gap in the Indian automotive market for a versatile and compact SUV. We are confident that with its unique value proposition, the Quanto will carve out a segment for itself in the market."

Renowned Mustang has recently announced its latest Stage 3 Mustang Premier Edition. This new edition will touch the roads in 2013. However the company has not reveled its price but Only 25 such Roush Performance units are on offer .



The main feature of the special edition is that buyers can choose one of twelve exterior paint colors, five of which are new for this year. The new hues are called Iridescence, Punch it Purple, Cabernet, V8 Red and Launch it Lemon. Another six colors are available for graphics or accent colors on the customized 'Stang.



Roush Performance also upgrades its engine and ups power to 625 hp and 525 lb/ft torque from the original 565 hp and 505 lb/ft torque, while customers can opt for a six piston brake upgrade.





The package also includes 20-inch wheels in either chrome or black as well as four-piston brake calipers and 14-inch rotors. I have uploaded some picshots of this new version, its looks are really awesome.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has recently launched its new small segment car Maruti Wagon R's new version i.e Wagon R Pro, its a limited edition.

This new edition comes up with will boast intricately styled body graphics, double-din music system with speakers and USB, seat covers, bumper protectors, side moldings, fancy wheel covers and a rear upper spoiler.



Company is currently offering a discount of Rs 30,000 on this new version of Wagon R Pro. The company is also offering this discount on available Wagon R in the Indian auto market.

The main thing to watch on this is that the company has offered only petrol version of this car due to the falling demand in petrol cars specially in small segment cars. The automakers Wagon R, aims to score high sales for its petrol powered models in the current line-up.

BMW has recently unveiled his new E-Scooter. This new scooter has stunning looks & performance wise it is too good. This new scooter has BMW unveils C evolution electric scooter which has 11 kW continuous output and 35 kW peak output.



The top speed is electronically limited to 120 km/h. The scooter supremely handles motorway riding and overtaking - even with a passenger.In terms of acceleration from 0 to 60 km/h, it comfortably holds its own against current maxi scooters a capacity of 600 cc or more.

Compared to conventional combustion engines, the electric drive of the "C evolution" also offers significant advantages at low speeds in particular. Thanks to elaborate power electronics settings, the alternator offers the rider an instant, spontaneous response. There are no delays in torque build-up at all as are typical in combustion engines due to the clutch engaging and disengaging.



Once charges complletly this vehicle can make ypu ride upto 100kms. This is a big factor for the people living in big city with zero-emissions riding in the big city and in urban environments is no problem at all.

 

 The "C evolution" uses the same lithium-ion storage modules as are installed in the BMW i3.Here, developers paid particular attention to the quality and service life of the storage modules so as to ensure that the range is preserved even after many years of service life and in very cold weather.



BMW Motorrad has conducted lengthy road tests to develop a form of recuperation which is unique in single-track vehicles and very transparent for the rider.
